Box Score 2 FORT WORTH- The Texas Wesleyan Baseball Team (31-16, 13-8 SAC) defeated Bacone College (0-35) in both games of a DH on senior day at Sycamore Park on Saturday afternoon. The Rams won game one 11-3 and won game two 11-0. The three seniors honored were
Joseph Barfield,
Matt Espinosa, and
Marcos Sanchez.
Game one: In the second inning,
Trey Erwin doubled to right center, picking up three RBIs. To tie the game 3-3. A. Kenny doubled down the left field line scoring
JD Padgett making the score now 4-3 Rams take the lead.
In the third,
Hayden Hutchins sent a solo shot to right center for TXWES. To follow up,
Trey Erwin singled to center field, scoring
Jose Sosa, which gave the Rams a three-run lead.
Marcos Sanchez added one more run to the board in the fourth with an RBI scoring
Hayden Hutchins.
Garrett Bodine was on the rubber for TXWES Â striking out four and allowing seven hits.
Ian Landreneau came in for relief allowing one hit and striking out three. To finish things off on the rubber,
Tomas Sanchez allowed no hits and struck out 2. TXWES finished up with an 11-3 victory.

Bobby Garza with his thoughts on Senior Day, "t's been great seeing each of these young men grow as individuals personally and athletically. They all have brought so much more to our program than just baseball. We are a better team because of them. I'm honored to be their coach."
In game two, TXWES took on Bacone college and secured an 11-0 win on Saturday.
To start things off in the first
Joseph Barfield doubled, picking up a couple of RBIs to gain the 2-0 lead. Kevin Santiago scored

Garrett Moltzan allowed one hit and struck out 4. J. Ingram came in for relief allowing no hits.
The Rams did not stop there, in the third inning
Joseph Barfield doubled up the middle.
Jake Ervin followed with a single up the middle and brought the score to 6-0 for TXWES.
In the fourth,
Tomas Sanchez homered to left field, picking up three more runs scoring
Chaesten Chon, andÂ
JD Padgett.
Matt Espinosa singled up the middle to wrap things up in the fifth.
Justin Ward on the mound picked up two strike outs, allowing one hit. Morgan  McCloud finished things off and allowed one hit.Â
The Rams have now scored 459 runs this season which is 25 shy of the single season record for most runs scored which is held by the 2008 team (494). TXWES will face LSU Shreveport in its final home game of the season at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
