BB: Rams topple Bulldogs, extend win streak to four games

DALLAS, TX-- The Texas Wesleyan baseball team (24-13, 10-5, SAC) defeated Jarvis Christian College (8-31) 8-3 on Tuesday afternoon at Oates Field to extend its win-streak to four games.

Head Coach Bobby Garza shared his thoughts on playing at the Texas Rangers Youth Academy, "It was a good day at the Texas Rangers Youth Academy. We are so thankful that they opened up their facilities for us. We have developed a great relationship with them and look forward to continuing bringing college baseball to the academy," said Garza.

"Garrett Moltzan was really good through 4 innings. He commanded the breaking ball well and was ahead of a lot of hitters. David Theriot and Brayden McAlister got weak contact and allowed our defense to make plays," said Garza. "Our offense came alive during the middle innings with Joseph Barfield and Aiden Kenney leading the way on some timely hits and timely RBI's. We played a pretty solid game today and hope to continue into the weekend."
