Bethany, OK. -Texas Wesleyan  (4-15, 3-9 SAC) fell to Southwestern Christian(16-4, 4-4 SAC) in the final two matches of a four game series losing game one 3-4 and game two 4-6.

Game 1

During the bottom of the first, SCU opened the inning with a triple to left center field. The Lady Eagles were able to take an early 1-0 lead. Heading into the fourth inning Texas Wesleyan went scoreless as SCU managed to score again. Krysta White singled to left field which was followed by another single up the middle from Jaeley May. A bunt from Khole Summers advanced the runners and put White into scoring position. After EB Zimmerman sent a ball soaring out to center field the lady Rams were able cut the score to 2-1. The Lady Eagles responded with  a double down the left field line that scored two runners from second and third to push the SCU advantage to 4-1. The Lady Rams would answer the call in the fifth with two runs of their own to cut the lead to one at 4-3 thanks to scoring runs from Kylie Summers and Brynna Foster . Sadly, they were unable to complete the comeback win and went scoreless the last two innings.

Game 2

SCU would score a run in the first inning on a  throwing error from the Lady Rams to take an early lead at 1-0. In the second inning the Lady Rams would respond after an SCU had a throwing error of their own. EB Zimmerman, Alyssa Bates, and Marissa Reina all scored to help the team take their first lead in the series. SCU would cut into the lead with a triple down the right field line that scored one run to make it a 3-2 ball game.  Brynna Foster would add a run in the fifth with a solo homer hit to center field to extend the Lady Rams' lead to 4-2. However, after a costly error that left two runners on first and second SCU would cut into the lead with a single deep ball to right field that cleared the bases to tie the game at 4-4. The Lady Eagles would score two more times to end the game with a 6-4 lead.
