Game 1

The Lady Rams got off to a strong start defensively led by the pitching of Brynna Foster. In the first two innings Foster only allowed one hitter to take the base. After an amazing save from Alyssa Bates in the outfield the lady rams would continue to battle with the Lady Drovers heading into the bottom of the third. Bates would hit a double out to right field followed by a Devin Dunn double to left field putting Bates into scoring position. The Lady Drovers would close out the inning with some timely defensive saves and the game would remain scoreless. The Lady Drovers would strike first with a scoring run to take a 1- 0 lead. USAO would continue to put the pressure on the Lady Rams with back to back hits followed by a homerun out to center field. They would finish the inning with a 5-0 lead over Texas Wesleyan. The score would remain the same as the game came to a close.

Game 2

The second game of the series remained tight for the first few innings with the Lady Rams trading points with the lady drovers. Heading into the fifth inning the score was 5-4. USAO would come storming back in a big way as they went on to out-score their opponents with 13 scoring runs. The Lady Rams would score just three more times, ending the game in the sixth inning with a final score of 17-8.

The Lady Rams will conclude the series today with a doubleheader today at Sycamore Park. Game 3  will begin at 12 p.m. immediately followed by game 4.
