FORT WORTH, TX- Head Coach Randy Dalzell announced the signing of transfer hurdler Hayden Boydston. Boydston competed at Southwestern College in Kansas for two seasons where he was an All-Conference hurdler in the KCAC Championships. Some of his personal best includes, 15.35 in the 110m hurdles, 56.35 in the 400m hurdles, and 8.67 in the indoor 60m hurdles. Boydston will be a junior majoring in Exercise Science.

Prior to his stint at Southwestern College, he attended and graduated Hurst Bell High School in Hurst, Texas, where he was an All-District hurdler. Some of his accolades include finishing second in the 110m hurdles in 15.56 and third in the 300m hurdles in 41.26 in the 2021 UIL 6A District 3 Championships.

Head coach Randy Dalzell praised the athlete for being a good combination hurderler in the 110m and 400m hurdles.

"We are excited that Hayden has decided to join our program," said Dalzell. "I think he'll really develop to a national level 400m hurdler in our group. He will be a nice addition to run both races as well as the indoor hurdles and maybe some relays."
