Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Plainview, Texas – Texas Wesleyan softball team would fall to Wayland Baptist Tuesday evening in doubleheader sweep. The Rams would would drop games one and two with 4-0 losses.
 
Wayland Baptist got the scoring started early in game one after back-to-back doubles to take a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. A fly ball down in foul territory would down the left field line to make it 2-0 over the Rams. Down 3-0 at this point Texas Wesleyan loaded the bases in the top of the 5^th inning but was unable to convert any runs. The Rams would remain scoreless as the Pioneers would score again and take game one win, 4-0.
 
Much like game one the Rams would find themselves scoreless in the first few innings of the contest. An infield single in the bottom of the third would give the Pioneers a 1-0 over Texas Wesleyan. Wayland Baptist would continue to find ways to score and would hold off the Rams to win game two with another score of 4-0.
 
The Rams will look to close out the series when they play in another doubleheader today against Wayland Baptist. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 12:00 PM and game two will follow after.
