ST. LOUIS, MO - The Texas Wesleyan University tennis teams concluded their seasons at the NAIA Unaffiliated Group Regional Championships, which featured teams from the Sooner Athletic Conference, the Heart of America Conference, and the American Midwest Conference. The championships took place on April 24th and 25th at the Dick Davis Tennis Center.

The women's team, entering as the third seed, commenced their campaign against sixth-seeded Grandview. The Rams secured a commanding 6-0 victory, sweeping all matches. Results from the singles competition included Mica Magday's (TXWES) 6-0, 6-0 victory over Elizaveta Ordinteva (GVU), while in doubles, Ege / Hudson (TXWES) defeated Ortega / Gowthaman (GVU) with a score of 6-1.

Advancing to the semifinals, the Rams faced off against second-seeded Missouri Baptist but were narrowly edged out, falling 4-3. Zeynep Ege (TXWES) delivered a standout performance, securing a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Camila Gomez (MBU), while Ege / Hudson (TXWES) claimed another win in doubles against Gomes / Luersen (MBU) with a score of 7-2.

On the men's side, entering as the fourth seed, the Rams began their journey against fifth-seeded John Brown University, winning with a series of impressive victories in both singles and doubles competitions. Match wins included Jose Merino's (TXWES) 6-2, 6-2 victory over Brady Dick (JBU) and the doubles victory of Salamanca / Merino (TXWES) over B. Hudson / Ezzat (JBU) with a score of 7-5.

Advancing to the semifinals, the Rams faced a strong opponent in second-seeded William Woods University. Despite their efforts, the Rams fell short, with William Woods University claiming a 4-0 victory. Results included Schneider's (WWU) 6-4, 6-0 win over Padlo Olmedo (TXWES) and Nahirniak / Grumley (WWU) defeating Olmendo / Torres (TXWES) with a score of 6-2 in doubles.
