She was a four-time SAC Player of the Year and helped lead the Rams to four consecutive NAIA National Tournaments. Schies is also the only player in program history to be named to the first-team NAIA All-American team four years in a row.
These members will be remembered for a long time, for not only their success on the field or court, but the impact they had on these programs.
Athletic Director Ricky Dotson stated "We are extremely proud of the success of our athletic department at Texas Wesleyan. While our current teams continue the winning traditions, the Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony allows our TXWES community to honor those who came before us and established the standards we strive for today. This year's class is another example of this. These inductees are the best of the best and serve as an example our athletes can follow in competition and in life."
