YPSILANTI — The Texas Wesleyan golf team moved up the leaderboard on Thursday, finishing Round 3 in fifth place at the 2025 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship, held at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
The Rams posted their best tournament round with a team score of 300 (+12), improving from a second-round 306 and an opening 310. Their three-day total of 916 (+52) places them squarely in contention entering the final day.
Senior Natalie Miksovska led the charge with a brilliant 1-under 71, carding four birdies and finishing with the lowest round of the day for Texas Wesleyan. Her performance moved her into a tie for 15th on the individual leaderboard at +9 overall.
Fellow Rams Raeleigh Davidson and Makena Junkin added steady rounds of 76 (+4) each. Davidson's round included a clean front-nine 36, while Junkin battled through the back to match her score. Both players are tied for 15th and 28th, respectively.
Salome Arango Marin and Lucia Larruscain rounded out the Rams' scoring with matching 77s (+5), showing consistency throughout their rounds.
Texas Wesleyan now sits just five strokes back of fourth-place SCAD Atlanta and remains within striking distance of a podium finish. Top-ranked British Columbia leads the field at +17, followed by Marian (IN) and Keiser tied at +32.
The Rams will look to build on their momentum during Friday's final round.
