OVERLAND PARK - Yoni Danzic of Texas Wesleyan University has been named the men's tennis player of the week by the Heart of America Conference, announced by the conference monday afternoon.

Danzic won all of his matches over the week as he helped guide the Rams to a 2-1 week with victories over Southwestern (KS) and Bethany (KS) and a close contest with Oklahoma Wesleyan. He won all three of his singles mathces with victories over Raphael Alvado of Oklahoma Wesleyan (6-4, 6-3), Jackson Davis of Southwestern (KS) (6-1, 6-1) and Dylan Gwilt of Bethany (KS) (6-3, 6-1). Danzic also won all of his doubles matches to make it a perfect 6-0 in his matches on the week.
