KANSAS CITY, MO – Texas Wesleyan University women's tennis will start the Heart of America Conference Tournament as the No. 2 seed to begin their postseason run.

The Heart of America Conference Tournament will start with the quarterfinals taking place on Friday, April 24 at 9:00am as the teams will face off to play in the semifinals that evening. The finals for the women's bracket will take place on Saturday, April 25 at 10am.

The matchups will go as follows:

• #1 Missouri Baptist (BYE)
• #4 Baker vs #5 Grand View
• #3 William Woods vs #6 John Brown
• #2 Texas Wesleyan vs #7 Missouri Valley

The Rams are coming off a career season as they boast a 19-3 record with key wins over No. 23 Texas A&M Texarkana and Ottawa (AZ). The Rams are 1-2 against top 25 ranked teams and are 1-0 against conference opponents as they swept Baker 5-0. The Rams will look to improve on their 2025 tournament performance as they fell in the semifinals to Missouri Baptist by a narrow score of 4-3. The Rams are looking to bring home the first place trophy in 2026.
