OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Texas Wesleyan University's Kylie Barnes has been selected as the Sooner Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the week as she delivered an outstanding performance in the circle. Barnes is the first Ram of the season to be named as SAC Player of the Week.

Barnes was outstanding in the circle as she recorded a 2-0 record against Oklahoma Panhandle State, throwing two complete games and allowing only three hits as she kept the Aggies off the scoreboard in both contests. Barnes recorded a .40 WHIP and threw eight strikeouts, averaging 5.6 strikeouts per seven innings.
