SHERMAN, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University women's tennis team improved to 2-1 with a 5-4 win at Austin College (1-1) on Saturday. The Lady Rams took the win on the strength of three victories in doubles competition.
The Lady Rams staked themselves to a 3-0 lead when the combinations of

Ashton Willis all scored victories.
In singles action, wins on the first and third lines sealed the match victory.
Loli Garcia defeated Kirsten Weber 6-4, 6-1 in No. 1 singles.
Ema Segetlija took No. 3 singles from Katie Seibert 6-4, 6-2. Three of Texas Wesleyan's singles losses went three sets.
The Lady Rams will return to action at the Collin County Quad in Plano, TX, February 17-18.
