Box Score 2 CHICKASHA, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University softball team (42-17) finished pool play with a split at the 2018 SAC Tournament on Friday. The Lady Rams blasted Bacone (14-38) 11-3 in six innings before falling just short to No. 3 Science and Arts (50-4), 4-2.

In game against Bacone, the Lady Rams set the team single game school record in steals with 10.
Kayla Prachyl, the school's career steals record holder added three more in the game.
Lauren Wernet also swiped three.
Jenna Rhoades,
Hailey Hollingsworth,
Tobi Bonifacio, and
Makenna Aycock all tallied one each.

Texas Wesleyan set the tone with a four-run first inning, forcing the Warriors to play catch-up before a five-run rally in the fifth put the game away.

Bacone committed five errors which helped the Lady Rams continue drives, resulting in the lopsided score.

Bailey Terry knocked her 17th home run of the season past the fence in left center to get things started in the first.

Bacone cut the lead to 5-3 in the fifth, but TXWES squashed any hopes of an upset in the bottom of the inning, lighting up the Warriors defense for five runs. Bonicacio,
Saeya Esparza, and Terry drove in a run each in the inning.

Aycock turned the score up to 11 in the sixth with a RBI single through the right side of the infield, evoking the run-rule and taking the win. Â Â
Wernet (13-6) found victory lane once again. She allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits, to go along with a pair of walks and a pair of strikeouts.

In the game with Science and Arts, Aycock (15-6) held the third ranked team in the nation hit less through four innings.

Randa Hatter led off the fifth with a solo shot to spur a five hit, three run burst for the Drovers. Another run crossed in the sixth on a passed ball, putting the Lady Rams on the hot seat.

In the seventh, Terry drove in a run on a triple to right field before a Drover error allowed the second run to score, but USAO was able to hold off the TXWES to advance to the SAC final.

With 42 wins, the Lady Rams finish the season as the school's most winningest team.
