The TXWES Women's Golf team competed in the TPC Deere Run Invitational at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, IL, Monday and Tuesday and finished fourteenth in the tournament, with play being called on Tuesday due to unplayable conditions on the course.

The Women's Golf team finished the tournament with a 350 total (+62 over par). Sophomore Malisone Chanthapanya led the team with a round of 78 (+6) and finished T3 with two other golfers.

Senior Emily Isaacson shot a round of 89 (+17), finishing in a T53 with two other golfers.

Freshman Natalie Mikovska shot a round of 91 (+19), finishing T61 with five other golfers. 

Senior Brooke Sullivan shot a round of 92 (+20), finishing T67 with five other golfers. 

Freshman Megan Kim shot a round of 94 (+22), finishing T77 with five other golfers.

The field in Silvis consisted of 20 teams; the University of the Cumberlands, Dalton State, SCAD-Savannah, William Penn University, Northwestern Ohio, William Carey University, Indiana Wesleyan University, Taylor University, Ottawa University (AZ), Marian, Truett McConnell, Rocky Mountain College, Lindsey Wilson College, Central Methodist, Indiana University East, St. Ambrose University, Campbellsville University and Grand View University.

The Lady Rams will compete next in Plainview, TX, at the Wayland Baptist Invitational at Plainview Country Club on Oct. 23 to 25.
