YPSILANTI — Texas Wesleyan University women's golf is set to compete on the national stage this week as the Rams tee off at the 2026 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
The four-day championship tournament begins Tuesday and runs through Friday, bringing together 30 of the top programs in the country in pursuit of a national title.
The Rams entered the season ranked No. 5 in the NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Preseason Top 25 after a fourth-place finish at the 2025 NAIA National Championship, signaling high expectations for another postseason run.
Texas Wesleyan faces a loaded national field that includes top-ranked Dalton State College, which enters the tournament as the No. 1 seed after holding the top spot in the final NAIA Coaches' Poll.
The NAIA Women's Golf National Championship features 72 holes of competition with teams battling through challenging course conditions and national-caliber competition. Eagle Crest Golf Club once again serves as the championship venue for the event.
Texas Wesleyan will look to build on last year's strong finish and continue its ascent among the NAIA's elite programs as the Rams pursue the program's first national championship.
