The Texas Wesleyan Gold Line Dancers were able to feature four performing soloists in the American Dance and Drill Team's (ADTS) College Competition on March 26
th! This is not a requirement for the team; it is an additional task for these students and an honor to be in the competition. They each brought an originally choreographed 2-minute performance to compete against other Universities. This portion of the ADTS competition has no division based on school size.
"They did an amazing job and brought their creativity to music and costuming, we are so proud of them!" Said Coach

Performing Soloist,
Jacy Hubartt is a senior at TXWES and this was her second opportunity to compete with a solo performance. The two years of competition during Covid eliminated this competitive opportunity for dancers; otherwise, she likely would have shown all 4 years representing Texas Wesleyan.

Mariaya Lewis is a freshman at TXWES and this was her first opportunity to compete as a soloist. She brought two routines, one featuring Jazz and one featuring contemporary styled choreography.
Performing soloist,
Hilary Colina is a freshman at TXWES and this was her first opportunity to compete as a soloists. She additionally performed her piece at a basketball games earlier in the season.

Noelia Gaytan is a junior at TXWES and this was her first opportunity to compete as a soloists. She is a transfer student and this is her first semester with the team.
