The Texas Wesleyan Gold Line Dancers had the opportunity to travel to Our Lady of the Lakes University in San Antonio to attend a National Dance Alliance (NDA) dance camp. Joining the dance team from OLLU, they were under the instruction of professional Varsity instructors to be challenged with choreography. The drill was to determine if they could obtain a bid for the National competition stage in April. After two days of instruction, the Gold Line Dancers were given a Nationals Bid as eligible to attend. The bid opens the door to compete in the spring on a National level and attend the NDA Finals in Daytona.

"There are exciting opportunities for our team this year, new captains and new dancers," said Coach Emily Snow. "I am excited to see how far they will go!"

Returning to Fort Worth, the dancers started their home camp with the full roster of dancers, learning halftime shows and material for the upcoming football season! To see their progress, they will have a camp showcase on Thursday, August 18th at 6:00 pm in the Sid Richardson Gym, free and open to the public.
