On Monday and Tuesday, the TXWES Men's Golf team competed in the Ranger Invitational at Meadowlake Golf Club in Enid, OK and finished second in the tournament, with junior Bryan deJonge placing second for individual title one shot off the lead.
The Men's Golf team finished the tournament with a 571 total (+3 over par).deJonge led the Rams by placing in second the tournament with rounds of 72 and 68 (-2).
Senior Tom Ammann shot 73 and 69 (E), finishing T6 with one other golf
Graduate student Chayan Duha shot 71 and 72 (+1), finishing T8 with fellow Ram junior Agustin Marquez with rounds of 71 and 72 (+1).
Senior Rory White shot rounds 73 and 71 (+2) finishing a solo tenth place.
Freshmen Colin Price shot rounds of 73 and 73 (+2) finishing T14 with one other golfer.
Junior Jung Woo Youn shot rounds of 74 and 73 (+5) finishing T16 with three other golfers.
Sophomore Haroon Aslam shot rounds of 73 and 75 (+4) finishing in a solo 20th place.
.Rounding out the Rams team scoring, senior Peter Weng shot rounds of 72 and 78 (+8) finishing T22 with fellow Ram freshman Jesper Brinchmann-Hansen shot rounds of 76 and 74 (+8)shot rounds of 75,
The field in Enid consisted of five other schools: Northwestern Oklahoma State, Seminole State College, Oklahoma Panhandle State University and Haskell Indian National University.
The Rams will compete in the Old Kinderhook Battle in the Ozarks on October 30 and 31 at the Old Kinderhook Golf Resort in Camdenton, MO to close out their fall season..
