On Monday, the TXWES Men's Golf team competed in the Old Kinderhook's Battle in the Ozarks at Old Kinderhook Golf Resort in Camdenton, MO, and finished third in the tournament, with freshman Colin Price placing T2 for individual title one shot off the lead, in a contest shortened due to weather.
The Men's Golf team finished the tournament with a 304 total (+20 over par). Price led the Rams by placing T2 in the tournament with two other golfers after a round of 72 (+1).
Senior Tom Ammann shot a round of 76 (+5), finishing T13 with one other golfer.
Graduate student Chayan Duha shot a round of 77 (+6), finishing T15 with six other golfers, including fellow Ram junior Brayden Inglebrigtsen, who shot a 77 (+1), and sophomore Haroon Aslam, who shot 77 (+1), both competing as individuals.
Senior Rory White shot a round of 79 (+8), finishing T25 with seven other golfers.
Junior Bryan de Jonge shot a round of 81 (+10), finishing T37 with three other golfers and rounding out the team score.
Sophomore Jose Sanchez shot a round of 83 (+12), finishing T44 with three other golfers.
The field in Camdenton consisted of 11 other schools: Williams Baptist, Kirkwood CC, Culver-Stockton, Kansas City Kansas CC, Baker University, Mount Mercy University, Missouri Baptist, Southwestern CC, Lewis & Clark CC, Coffeyville CC and North Central Missouri College.
The tournament was the last of the fall for the Rams, with the spring schedule to be released soon on ramsports.net.
