The TXWES Women's Texas Wesleyan Golf team, led by Women's Head Coach Kevin Millikan, competed in the Texas Intercollegiate tournament at the Hawks Creek Golf Course in Westworth Village, Texas, on Monday and Tuesday and finished first in their intercollegiate division. 

 The Women's Golf Blue team finished first in the tournament, scoring 883 in total scores. The group consisted of senior Malisone Chanthapanya, who also won the individual title with rounds of 76, 67, and 72 for a  -1 under-par score. 

Also playing in the group were juniors Raeleigh Davidson with rounds of 77, 73 and 78 for a +12 over par and Salome Arango-Marin with rounds of 79, 73 and 77 for a +13 over par, sophomore Natalie Miksovska with rounds of 75, 75 and 72 for a +6 over par for a T3 finish with one other golfer and freshman Makena Junkin with rounds of 73, 74, and 74 for a +5 over par for a solo second place finish.

The Women's Golf White team finished with a 988 in total scores. The group consisted of seniors Megan Kim with rounds of 78, 78 and 84 for a +24 over par and Bailey O'Donnell with rounds of 91, 85 and 86 for a +46. Sophomore Addie Poulin with rounds of 80, 79 and 81 for a +24 over par and rounding out the team scoring was freshman Corrina Griffin with rounds of 86, 81 and 79 for a +30 over par.

The Lady Rams play again next week from Sept. 18 - 19, traveling to compete at the NW Iowa National Invitational in Le Mars, Iowa, at the Willow Creek Golf Club.
