OKLAHOMA CITY - Texas Wesleyan's Makena Junkin delivered a second-place finish at the Texas Wesleyan Spring Invitational at Squaw Creek Golf Course, earning Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboards Women's Golfer of the Week honors.

Junkin posted rounds of 72-74-68 for a two-under-par 214, climbing the leaderboard with the best final round of the tournament. Her closing bogey free third round of 68 provided one of the strongest finishes of the event and helped a Texas Wesleyan lineup
that ultimately tied for first place in the team standings, but lost to Blinn College on the first playoff hole.
