WILLOW PARK — Texas Wesleyan University tied for first place at the 2026 TXWES Spring Invitational, matching Blinn College with a team score of 892, with Blinn winning on the first playoff hole with a team birdie. 

Makena Junkin led Texas Wesleyan with an impressive finish in second place individually, posting a final round of 68 (-4) to complete the tournament at 214 (-2).

Makena Junkin stood out for the Rams by finishing second overall with a final score of 214 (-2). She posted an even-par 72 in the first round, followed by a 74 (+2) in the second round, and closed with an impressive 68 (-4) in the final round.

 Natalie Miksovska secured third place with a total score of 219 (+3), scoring rounds of 74 (+2), 75 (+3), and 70 (-2). Sophia Gorgees Baeta contributed to the side's success with an eighth-place finish, recording a final score of 230 (+14). She shot a 73 (+1) in the first round, 80 (+8) in the second, and 77 (+5) in the third.
