BLANCHARD, OK -The TXWES Women's Texas Wesleyan Golf team competed in The Battle at Winter Creek at Winter Creek Golf and Country Club in Blanchard, OK.

 The team finished first in the tournament, scoring 897 (+33) in total scores. The group consisted of sophomore Makena Junkin with rounds of 75, 69 and 77 for a +5 over par, finishing in first place, for her third victory of the season, and senior Salome Arango Marin with rounds of 73, 71 and 80 for a +8 over par finishing T3 with one other golfer.

Senior Raeleigh Davidson with rounds of 76, 71 and 70 for a +10 over par total finished the tournament in a solo fifth place.

Junior Lucia Larruscain with rounds of 75, 76 and 78 finished T6 with two other golfers for a +13 over par. Junior Natalie Miksovska rounded out the team scores with rounds of 79, 73 and 82 finishing T12 with two other golfers.

Senior Addie Poulin competing for the Rams as a medalist shot rounds of 85, 82 and 75 to finish the tournament T19 with one other golfer.

The Rams will compete on October 28 and 29 in Lakeland, FL at the Southeastern University Fall Invitational at the Grasslands GC.
