BUCKEYE, AZ - On Monday and Tuesday, the TXWES Men's Golf team participated in the OUAZ Showdown at Sundance Golf Club in Buckeye, Arizona. 

The team commenced the tournament vigorously, posting the lowest score of the opening day with a 292 (+4). 

Peter Weng, competing as an individual, was able to complete his first round early on Tuesday. One of two golfers left the course after play on Monday and carted a 69 (-3) to lead going into round two.

Juan Ricardo Davila Bone led the Rams team, delivering a robust round of 70 (-2), one shot off the lead.

Agustin Marquez followed suit with a 72 (E) round, while Tom Ammann posted a 73 (+1). 

Colin Price recorded a round of 77 (+5), with Jung Woo Joun concluding the team score with 79 (+7). 

On Tuesday, the team performance yielded a 296 (+8). 

Tom Ammann spearheaded the Rams' effort with a round of 70, finishing at -2 under par and securing third place individually, two shots behind the winner. 

Agustin Marquez recorded a second-day round of 74 (+2). 

Colin Price and Jung Woo Joun posted a 76 (+4) round, with Juan Ricardo Davila Bone shooting a 78 (+6) round. 

Peter Weng concluded the tournament with a round of 78 (+3).

Despite their promising start, the team failed to maintain their advantage and ultimately secured second place (588) in the tournament, trailing OUAZ (584) by four shots.

The Rams will travel back to Arizona for The Clash. The tournament will be played on March 25 and 26 at Laughlin Ranch Golf Course in Bullhead City, AZ.
