OKLAHOMA CITY — Brady Meek of Texas Wesleyan earned Sooner Athletic Conference men's golfer of the week honors for the second time this season, the conference announced Tuesday. His first award came the week of Sept. 16.

Meek shot rounds of 67-71-70 for an 8-under-par total of 208 at the Battling in the Desert tournament at Rockwind Community Links in Hobbs, New Mexico. Tied for the lead after regulation, he sealed the individual title with an eagle on the first playoff hole. Meek recorded 16 birdies and eight bogeys over the 54-hole event.
