KANSAS CITY - Texas Wesleyan University fell five spots to No. 10 in the first regular-season NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25 poll released last Thursday.
Keiser (Fla.) held firm at No. 1 with 465 points and 15 of 16 first-place votes, edging defending champion British Columbia by 15 points. The Seahawks won their season-opening Seahawk Shootout and posted strong finishes elsewhere, closing the fall Oct. 27-28 at Marsh Creek Country Club in an event hosted by Flagler College.
British Columbia stayed at No. 2 after two fall victories and a standout win by Sienna Harder at the Harbottle Invitational hosted by Seattle U. The Thunderbirds' next event is the Canada West Championship Oct. 20-21 at Chilliwack Golf Club.
Dalton State (Ga.) jumped three places to No. 3 after winning at Innisbrook, led by two-time NAIA Women's Golfer of the Week Sara Burger. Indiana Wesleyan surged six spots to No. 7 with a signature 25-stroke victory over then-No. 4 Marian at the Crossroads League Preview.
Morningside (Iowa) and Lawrence Tech (Mich.) entered the poll at Nos. 23 and 25.

Ratings Methodology
- The rating is rated by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and unaffiliated groupings.
- The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater rates the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place, 28 for third-place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ratings for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) are removed. The team's rating will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the team appears on.
- Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered "receiving votes".
