OKLAHOMA CITY — Louis Guffroy of Texas Wesleyan University (TXWES) was named the Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Guffroy led TXWES to a 6-3 victory over North American, scoring three goals on three shots, including a penalty kick, while coming off the bench.

Other nominees included Ryan Jeanfreau of Mid-America Christian, Matija Malenovic of Science and Arts, Makel Mitchell of Nelson (Texas), and Francis Motsi of Wayland Baptist (Texas).
