KANSAS CITY - New year, new spotlight for Texas Wesleyan, which holds steady at No. 9 in the latest NAIA women's wrestling rankings. Life (Ga.) continues to lead the field at the top spot, trailed by Providence (Mont.), Grand View (Iowa), William Penn (Iowa), and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.). Only a few teams moved this week, with Missouri Valley climbing two spots to No. 12, and Evergreen State (Wash.) rising one place to No. 14.
Individually, the ten wrestlers who led their weight classes remained the same. We also had two wrestlers reach the century win mark since the last rating, with Erin Hikiji at the 103 class earning her 100th win back on December 14th. Then, just two days ago, on December 30, Latifah McBryde climbed above the 100-win mark.
