KATY — Texas Wesleyan University captured the 2026 National Women's Collegiate Golf Championship title with strong and consistent play across all three rounds, highlighted by a final-round team score of 302 (+18).
Makena Junkin and Natalie Miksovska led the Lady Rams' effort, each posting a final-round 73 (+2). Junkin finished the tournament at +10 (74-76-73), securing second place overall. Miksovska placed third at +14 (79-75-73).
Sofia Gorgees Baeta delivered a solid performance, finishing tied for fifth place with a tournament total of +23 (80-77-79). Lucia Larruscain contributed with a final-round 77 (+6), placing tied for seventh at +28 (80-84-77). Corrina Griffin rounded out the team's scoring, finishing ninth at +35 (79-86-83).
The Lady Rams demonstrated excellent depth and consistency throughout the week to claim the team championship.
Texas Wesleyan will next compete at the Willow Park Golf Club in Willow Park, Texas, on April 13–14.
