WESTWORTH VILLAGE  — Texas Wesleyan is currently third at the Texas Intercollegiate, posting a two-round team score of 611 at Hawks Creek Golf Club.

Makena Junkin led the Rams and captured individual medalist honors with a 7-under-par 137. Junkin opened with a 3-under 69 before firing a 4-under 68 in the second round to finish atop the individual leaderboard.

Sophia Gorgees Baeta placed 17th with a 13-over 157 after opening with a 75.

Corrina Griffin and Jordan Pillay tied for 21st at 16-over 160. Griffin posted matching rounds of 80, while Pillay carded rounds of 79 and 81.

The Rams wil conclude the tournament on Tuesday with 18 holes of play.
