OKLAHOMA CITY – The Texas Wesleyan delivered a commanding performance to secure the team title at the Kyle Blaser Invitational. At the same time, Raeleigh Davidson prevailed in a dramatic three-hole playoff to claim the individual championship.
The Rams, ranked No. 6 in the NAIA, steadily improved each round, posting team scores of 323, 317 and 311 to finish at +87 for the tournament. Texas Wesleyan outpaced host Oklahoma City, which finished 12 strokes behind at +99.
Davidson, who finished tied atop the leaderboard at +18, outlasted her competition in a tense playoff to secure medalist honors. She shot rounds of 78, 80 and 76, closing strong to force and ultimately win the tiebreaker.
Teammate Salome Arango Marin also delivered a solid performance, finishing in fifth place at +23, while Makena Junkin and Lucia Larruscain tied for sixth at +24. Natalie Miksovska rounded out Texas Wesleyan's team performers, finishing 10th at +26.
Competing as individuals Corrina Griffin finished solo 18th place, Annaliese Joiner finished T22 with one other golfer and Addie Poulin finished in 37th place.
