OKLAHOMA CITY - Makena Junkin of Texas Wesleyan has been named this week's Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboards Women's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.

Junkin competed in the Kona Ice Keiser Cup at Okeeheelee Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, securing her third title of the season. She carded rounds of 77-74-71 for a six-over-par total of 222, closing with a strong final-round 71 to claim medalist honors. Her performance helped the Rams finish second in the team standings, behind eventual winners Keiser University.

This victory marks Junkin's eighth individual collegiate win at Texas Wesleyan, tying her for the most in program history.
